The Business Committee is recruiting!
Hi all ambitious and creative Hanken students!
Do you want to be part of a motivated team of Hanken students who have the opportunity to contribute to the Student Union in a concrete and valuable way? Then the Business Committee can be something for you!
The business committee is an extension of the SHS board and is responsible for the union’s business collaborations. NU organizes e.g. Hanken Network Day and countless other corporate events, and is continuously looking for new cooperation opportunities with the business community. Corporate relations are also one of the Student Union’s most important sources of income.
We are now looking for dedicated people to join the following two teams:
PR & Marketing
Are you interested in social media, marketing or creating digital content? Then PR could be right for you! The PR team is responsible for NU’s social media, ensuring that the companies’ image is visible there and that everything is done on schedule. PR’s task is also to ensure that the committee itself is visible at the student union and that Hankeites find us and our services.
Sales & Account Management
Are you interested in being the link between the committee and the companies, and in selling and negotiating contracts with them? Then you are the right person to be an Account Manager! AMs take care of their own partner companies, as well as generate new sales by renegotiating contracts and acquiring new companies for the portfolio.
What do you get out of being part of NU?
Well, you will be in close contact with the leading companies in the Finnish business community, you will practice essential business communication skills, meeting culture and event planning & execution. Last but not least, you will be a part a great and dynamic team and cooperate with other business committees both nationally and internationally!
How do I apply?

Write a brief (not too long) application explaining why you want to join NU, why you are a good candidate and which task you would be particularly interested in.
