Are you interested in exploring how venture capitalists and startup and growth companies develop their sustainability? Tesi is looking for a Sustainability Trainee focused on responsibility and impact issues for a new role within its strategy and development team. This internship will start in mid-January 2025 and is a full-time position lasting 5-6 months.
The Strategy and Development team works on Tesi’s strategy, development projects, internal and external market analyses, and data and analytics that support decision-making. A key part of this work is sustainability, which at Tesi includes both responsibility (ESG) and impact. Sustainability activities encompass measuring and developing Tesi’s own responsibility and impact, as well as assessing and promoting the sustainability of its investment targets. The Development team is responsible for this work, but the Communications team is also closely involved in sustainability matters, producing sustainability reports and annual reports, as well as more informal sustainability-related content, such as for Tesi’s website and social media channels.
As a Sustainability Trainee, you will be part of the collaboration between the Development and Communications teams, primarily working with the Development team but also supporting the Communications team on sustainability topics. Success in this role requires both familiarity with sustainability issues and excellent writing and reading skills in Finnish and English.
