aTalent: Toyota Finland – Key Account Manager

Toyota Finance Finland Oy, a Toyota-owned finance company, is now looking for a Key Account Manager with a passion for B2B sales and customer relationship management to join its corporate sales team.

In your role, you will be an integral part of both Toyota Auto Finland’s and Toyota Finance Finland’s corporate sales teams, as part of a four-person team. As Key Account Manager, your goal is to increase Toyota’s corporate sales market share in passenger cars, commercial vehicles and financial services. You will focus on key accounts and your role will have a strong emphasis on new customer acquisition, but you will also be responsible for managing existing customer relationships. You will focus on corporate sales, especially in the Toyota Business and Professional dealership areas, and your customer base will be mainly located in Southern Finland and in Finland’s major cities. In addition, you will have a portfolio of international business customers.

Your daily work will include prospecting and contacting potential customers, as well as meeting with corporate customers on your own and together with Toyota’s dealer network of corporate car salespeople. You will also train and support the Toyota dealership network’s corporate salespeople in their work. You will also manage the rental business for the major car rental companies.

If you already have strong experience in B2B sales and an understanding of finance, you may be the right person for us. You have a good grasp of the big picture and understand the needs of client companies. Sales cycles are typically long, so we look for persistence and perseverance. Your work will occasionally involve a lot of visits to customers, so we hope you will be willing and interested in mobile sales work.

We expect from the applicant:
A commercial university background
Previous experience in B2B sales, preferably in the financial or automotive sector
Experience in development projects and corporate sales and marketing development work
Strong sales skills and a long-term, self-directed approach to work
Driving licence and willingness to travel mainly within the country
Good Finnish and English language skills and excellent interpersonal skills

It is also an advantage to have:
Knowledge of Swedish
A network of contacts among key decision-makers in the corporate car sector

The practicalities:

In this permanent, full-time position, you will be employed directly by our client Toyota Finance Finland. You will start in August. You will be based in Vantaa, but your work will involve a lot of travelling to visit customers, mainly in Finland.
