If you are a recent graduate or have a few years’ experience in a similar role, you are the person we are looking for. You are analytical, ambitious and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and international environment. You will be able to work independently, take responsibility from day one and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Your future team:
Our role is to support Mehiläinen’s senior management and business representatives in business development by providing high-quality analysis and reporting solutions to support decision-making both in Finland and internationally.
We work on a wide range of projects, ranging from business intelligence development to strategic topics such as M&A and market research.
Our team consists of a number of top experts who, in addition to strong financial expertise, share an interest in business development and supporting business management with modern analytics solutions.
We offer responsible and varied assignments, as well as the opportunity to grow professionally within the firm. This is without forgetting a pleasant working atmosphere and nice, supportive colleagues.
Your future jobs:
The exact job description and thematic priorities will be shaped by your strengths and interests, but your tasks will be related to one or more of the following entities under the responsibility of our team:
Data management and BI development: you will analyse all operational and financial data in the company, and develop data models and reporting based on this. In addition to providing analysis, you will identify areas for development and proactively communicate these to business representatives. We are typically responsible for all stages of analytics development, from building data sets to developing reports for end users, either independently or in collaboration with our Data Platforms and Data Science teams, for example.
Strategy and M&A: You will be involved in several types of development projects such as acquisitions, market research, business case modelling and business plan development. In M&A projects, you will be responsible for issues such as value proposition modelling, preparing board proposals and coordinating due diligence processes with internal and external stakeholders.
Financial reporting & analysis. You will work closely with business representatives to help them understand and further improve financial performance by combining financial and operational data.
What do we want from you?
You have an appropriate university degree (e.g. engineering/ business) and a strong interest in the healthcare industry.
You are proactive, able to take ownership of issues and drive forward complex issues independently, even in situations where there are multiple stakeholders and where precise control is limited.
You have excellent communication skills and are able to absorb new entities quickly.
You are proficient in working in Excel and have experience in financial modelling.
We actively use Power BI and MS SQL Server databases in our work, so a genuine interest in BI and analytics development is a prerequisite for success in the role. We also provide training to support team members’ development in technical work.
