SEB International Trainee Programme 2022
SEB’s International Trainee Programme is a unique way to kick-start your career! You are hired to a full-time employment that begins with the International trainee programme. The programme starts in September 2022 and runs for 9 months. As a trainee at SEB you will get the opportunity to develop an extensive network, gain a deep understanding of the financial industry, and be professionally and personally challenged. During the Trainee Programme, practical work is interspersed with training to give you the best possible conditions for development and to have an exciting career at SEB. The programme is divided into three parts: work at your home department, job rotations and training. We have two positions in Finland in the International Trainee Programme 2022: Sustainable Banking & Investor Services.
Sustainable Banking: SEB’s Sustainable Banking organisation is integrated part of the different business units and decision making in the bank. It is the is part of the bank where finance and sustainability meet. You will be a part of a team dedicated to future-proof SEB’s business across the different business units. You will work with different stakeholders and products in SEB with the ambition to help our customers, large corporates and institutions, to succeed in the rapidly changing world. Your daily work includes anything from preparing presentations for meetings to generating new ideas on how to help different stakeholders on sustainability-related issues. For example, you could be part of a team structuring a sustainability linked loan to a customer or part of a larger restructuring that is linked to sustainability transformation. Also, executing versatile ad-hoc type of assignments and cases will define the daily work.
Investor Services: You will be a part of a professional team, accountable for providing world class service to our global and local institutional clients in post-trade domain. We provide custody services to both international investment banks, global custodians, and broker dealers in Finnish securities as well as to local institutional investors in global securities. Our depositary is monitoring the fund processes of over 300 Finnish funds. Cross collaboration and interaction with other SEB teams with focus on accuracy and timely delivery are essence of our daily work. As post-trade is a highly digital business, new disruptive business models, providers and trends emerge continuously, and we need to be aware and ready to address the opportunities and challenges ahead. You will be helping us in doing that!
