What you will be doing

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Receptionist who genuinely cares about clients, to support our team as a temporary hourly worker. The working hours are mostly between 10-14 and may vary weekly. The working hours are agreed separately with the manager. There will be a possibility to continue as a summer worker for the right match.

Our strategy is based on being a long-term partner for our customers and for us the customer always comes first. This can be clearly seen in our everyday work and in our commitment to excellent customer service in every encounter.

In the Reception team we greet arriving guests, administer room bookings for our meeting rooms as well as facilitate and support in organizing meetings and events. Our tasks are divided by the three-person team we have so the tasks vary from day to day; you may for one day be greeting guests at the ground floor reception area as well as handle different upcoming meeting requests. Interruptions and urgent tasks are part of the work, so it’s not possible to plan the content of the workdays in detail in advance.

Who we are looking for

As situations may change continuously and quickly, it’s important to be able to understand the big picture in every case. Different customer service situations require flexibility, ability to work under time pressure and excellent interaction skills, as well as being highly organized. From time to time it is also needed to be able to handle demanding customer service situations with the ability to quickly act wisely and respectfully.

In the Reception team we have excellent team spirit and caring colleagues, so we promise you will get a good onboarding for the tasks. If you enjoy social situations and the chance to meet different professionals every day, this might be a match for you. As a colleague at SEB, you will also be able to learn and experience the bank’s business and naturally get to know our customers. Our beautiful office is in the centre of Helsinki at Eteläesplanadi.

In the Reception team we are also serving internal guests from SEB’s other offices around the world, and most frequently from the Nordic countries. Hence most of our internal guests are Swedish-speaking, and in this position, we require fluent skills in Finnish, Swedish and English.
