Of course YOU should become Buddy!
Do you want to engage in international context during your studies at Hanken?
Are you interested in getting to know exchange students from all over the world?
Do you like to socialize and to learn about different cultures, and maybe even get a chance to improve your language skills?
If you answered yes to these questions, then YOU should definitely become a Buddy!
As a Buddy for one or several exchange students, you will get the chance to get to know new people from all over the world. Usually, there are exchange students all the way from France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Nordic countries to even China, Thailand, Taiwan, and South Korea. In other words, there is a huge potential to learn about different cultures and languages in a fun and relaxed way, since you will be spending time with them both in school and during your free time while doing things that you enjoy.
The Buddy Program is organized by the Exchange Committee (EC), which is the committee that holds the main responsibility for the exchange students’ integration into Hanken and our student union, and of course feel comfortable in Finland and the Finnish culture in general. We would like to invite you to join us on this mission and to have a great time while doing so.
EC will organize many different events for the exchange students during the Autumn semester. This can be for example: pub crawl, game night, or a hike in Nuuksio national park. Any suggestions or ideas are of course welcome. As buddie you would be welcome to all our events and parties, but of course any Hanken student is welcome to join in even without being Buddy. What counts is interest and motivation!
Please sign-up for being Buddy by following the link below. You will not regret it.
Last day to sign-up is 20th August!
You can also keep up to date with EC on both Instagram and Facebook:

If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to contact me on Facebook, by e-mail or phone, or at school. See you in the Autumn!
