Centre Communication Coordinator (part time)
Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki invites applications for a
CENTRE COMMUNICATION COORDINATOR
The Hanken Center for Accounting, Finance and Governance is looking for a new Centre Communication Coordinator!
This is a part time position with flexible working hours 15/h a week according to 15 € per hour.
The position is a temporary position for 6 months, with a possibility to discuss for prolongation. The work starts in May 2021, the exact date will be agreed on with the chosen candidate.
The work goes great to combine with studies at Hanken!
Your tasks will include:
- Organising and hosting events by the Centre (e.g., book readings, symposia or conferences)
- Assisting in writing research applications to foundations and EU
- Communicating on social media (especially LinkedIn)
- Updating the webpage contents of the Centre and the department of Accounting and Commercial Law
- Coordinating communication with the other Centres and marketing at Hanken
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate studies at Hanken and is interested in the world of accounting and governance.
The candidate has strong communication skills, with a very good command of English and Swedish.
The candidate enjoys organising events, has good people skills and goes the extra mile to help participants. The candidate has a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint.

The Hanken AFG Centre is a forum for robust and theoretically substantiated research that aims to solve practical accounting, finance and commercial law related problems in organizations and the larger society. The current focus areas of the AFG Centre are: Sustainability Accounting and Impact Investing, Financial Leadership and Good Governance, and Data-Driven Decision Making in Finance and Accounting. The Hanken AFG Centre is located at the Hanken School of Economics, Helsinki, and directed by Prof. Dr. Othmar M. Lehner.
